A very special thank you to Peter Kelly and Lance Ewing for creating the documentation that this tutorial is based on.

Introduction

AGI for Dummies is designed to teach even inexperienced programmers how to create AGI games. It will focus on such fundamentals as game design, resource creation and editing, AGI programming, and for those interested, advanced/modified AGI in easy-to-follow, illustrated lessons. At least, that is my goal. If you have any questions or comments about the tutorial, or suggestions for improvement, please e-mail me at nemesis1@attglobal.net.

Before you begin this tutorial, you will need:

Create a new directory called AGI and unzip agistudio.zip and picedit.zip into it. Now you are ready to begin!
